Superdrug Strawberry Exfoliating Mask

At the weekend I decided to apply a face mask to give my skin a boost before Christmas. The mask that I used was Superdrug Strawberry Exfoliating Mask. I had bought this a while ago along with a few other masks in a 3 for 2 offer.

This particular mask is designed so that the strawberry fruit and seeds get rid dead skin cells and unblock pores. I cleansed my face first and applied a generous amount to my skin. The mask smelt amazing, just like a strawberry smoothie or strawberry ice-cream. You could notice the seeds exfoliating the skin whilst applying it. After 15 minutes the mask had set slightly (I don't think it is a fully setting mask). I then used warm water and cleansing mitts to remove the mask. This is when the full on exfoliating action happens. Upon removing the mask you could really feel the strawberry seeds polishing the skin. One removed my skin felt much much softer and smoother and even looked brighter. I then applied some moisturiser and off to bed I went.

I really like Superdrug's own face masks. Having used a few I have had nothing but great results and they smell amazing. They also have so many different types to choose from. At 99p they are a great for a little pamper session. They are even paraban free!
