ESPA Relaxing Night In

Last week I felt in desperate need of some pampering. I have been quite good recent and have had a lot of presents to buy for other people so thought I would treat myself to some ESPA products.

I found an online exclusive- The Relaxing Home Spa Collection. This included a Soothing Eye Lotion, Pink Hair & Scalp Mud, Essential Cleansing Mask and a Soothing Candle. With the promise of a relaxing pampering experience I had to get it.

ESPA online service is great and I got my products two days later but I decided to wait until Sunday to have my pamper session.

I love ESPA candles and have blogged about them in the past (here). The Soothing candle smells amazing. What I love about these candles is that when burning them the wax turns to an oil almost and gives off a lovely aroma which can fill the whole house. This is perfect for relaxing.

Firstly I applied the Pink Hair & Scalp Mud. This is a conditioning treatment for the hair. It contains Watercress, which is rich in Vitamin C and Apricot Kernel Oil which help sooth and nourish your scalp. The red clay stimulates circulation and helps strengthen the hair. I applied this to damp hair, massaging it in to my scalp then cover the red of my hair. I tied it up in a top knot and left it on for 20 minutes.

Straight after applying the mud mask to my hair I cleansed my face then applied a generous amount of the Essential Cleansing Mask. I really enjoy face masks and have been using them a lot more recently.

The mask contains 'mineral-rich Kaolin Clay and antiseptic Rose Geranium help clear excess oils, impurities and congestion. Benzoin nourishes, while soothing Rose Damascena and Marshmallow soften and calm.'

With my skin being so congested recently the fact that this clarified as well as soothed and nourished really appealed to me. So with hair and face mask all that was left to do was to apply some of the Soothing Eye lotion to some cotton pads and lie back for 20 minutes.

The Soothing Eye Lotion contains Cornflower which  'calms and reduce under eye puffiness, Cucumber cools and Watermelon helps refresh and ease redness, to leave eyes cooled, soothed and revitalised'.

The Soothing Eye Lotion did feel lovely. Applied to cotton pads then to my eyes, it felt soothing, cooling and very refreshing. At work I stare at a computer screen all day giving me really tired eyes. This was definitely what they needed.

All of the ESPA products smell amazing, full of essential oils and natural ingredients. I am also in love with the luxurious frosted glass packaging.

The face mask left my skin feeling deeply cleansed and very soft. I also was very impressed with the hair mud mask. After washing it off and blow drying my hair it felt so soft and the shine it left it with was amazing. Even my mum commented on how shiny it looked.

I am so happy with my ESPA products as ever and was left feeling very relaxed and pampered which is exactly what I set out to do!

Have you tried EPSA products?
