Due to the embarassing large amounts of make up that I own I have decided not to buy any more make up for a while in a bid to save some money. This weekend I went into my train case to dig out some make up products that I have forgot about. Every time I do this it feel like I am going shopping as there is so much to choose from and products I completely forgot I had.
The theme I was kind of going for when I pick out some products to swap in to my make up bag was flawless glowy skin and natural eyes. As a result a lot of the products I am sharing with you are very neutral/natural hues.
I picked out MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Redhead which is a gorgeous shimmering peachy bronze colour. I originally bought this as a highlight and a nice highlight it makes however today I used this as an all over colour on my eyelids and was amazed at how natural but pretty it look.
I also pulled out my MAC Mineralize Shinfinish Natural in Medium Dark. This helps to set make up and give it that flawless looking finish.
I found a gorgeous eye palette from W7 called Golden Eyes. I bought this a while ago and have barely used it. The colours are gorgeous and have a satin finish and are really pigmented. Perfect for daytime eyes.
I also rediscovered Tarte Smooth Operator which is an illuminating serum which can be worn under foundation to give the skin a bit of a boost. I also swapped in MAC Cream Colour Base in Pearl which I use as a highlight products for along the top of my cheek bones and brow bone.
For cheeks I picked out Glisten Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush from Tarte. I got this in Las Vegas just over a year ago and thought it was a pretty golden pink colour and would give it another go.
Finally I put my All That Glitters by MAC away and swapped it for Kiko Highly Pigmented Eyeshadow in 80. This is a beautiful sandy colour which again is great as an all over lid colour. I got this whilst in Rome and unfortunately we don't have a Kiko in the UK which is a shame as their eyeshadow colour range was amazing!
So there you have my picks from shopping my stash. It's amazing what you find when you look through your make up collection. Have you shopped your stash recently?
