My Shower Essentials

Today I thought I would share with you my shower essentials. These are the products that I am currently using and loving for the shower. I swap my shower products around a lot (much to my mum's dismay. The bathroom is overcrowded with my beauty products). I especially change my shampoo and conditioner frequently as I am always wanting to try new ones.

I do love baths but never seem to have them that often. I am definitely more of a shower girl! I always shampoo my hair first and currently I am using the Timotei Pure Shampoo for normal to greasy hair. As I have mentioned before I have oily roots and dry ends. Lately my hair has been a bit oilier than usual so I bought this shampoo to try and balance my hair. I like that the Timotei products are free of silicones, paragons and colorants. This particular shampoo has organic green tea leaf extract and feels nice and refreshing when I use it.

I also bought the Timotei Pure Conditioner for normal to greasy hair. I was expecting this conditioner to be really thin and not that nourishing as it is for greasy hair however it is surprisingly thick and moisturising. I only apply this from my mid lengths downwards.

As far as body was is concerned I am currently loving the Soap & Glory Foam Call Body Wash. Containing peppermint essential oils along with fruit extracts this body wash has a really refreshing scent which I like. It foams up nicely and actually helps moisturise the skin instead of leaving it feeling tight and dry.

Now the next product is a bit strange. I used the Bull Dog Original Face Wash, which yes, is supposed to be for men. Ok, so this is actually my brothers. I had been using a Soap & Glory cleanser but really didn't like it so picked up the next best thing in the shower. Bull Dog is a natural skincare range for guys and this face was contains 8 essential oils and green tea. Containing no parabans, sulphates, artificial colours or fragrances this is heavenly for the skin. It takes all my make up off and leaves my skin clear.

After cleansing I then use my all time favourite facial exfoliator, Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose In It. This is one of the few beauty products I actually repurchase time and time again and stay loyal to. It is a fruit-acid formula which gently gets rid of dead skin cells and de-clogs pores. You can leave this on for a couple of minutes to use it as a mask to brighten and prevent blemishes. I couldn't be without this product.

Moving on to the products that I only use once a week in the shower. The first is the Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub. By now you might have guessed that I'm a bit of a Soap & Glory fan. I have said it before and I will say it again the Sugar Crush scrub is the yummiest smelling scrub you will ever come across. Lime and brown sugar = mojitos! This leaves my skin soft as well as moisturised.

Finally I will use a deep conditioning treatment once a week to give my hair an extra boost of moisture. I am currently using the John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioner. I have raved before about the Full Repair range and am still loving it. I put this from my mid lengths to my ends and leave it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing it of. My hair is left soft and silky.

So there you have my shower essentials. Yes, I take ages in the shower. It is a mini pamper session each time. What are you guys favourite shower products?
