Well Monday was my birthday and I was in bed ill most of the day so feeling a bit sorry for myself I thought I would order myself a little birthday present. Latest In Beauty is a website where you can receive free samples, luxury samples as well as collection boxes (also home of the most amazing advent calendar I have ever seen, was so sad I didn't get one). The boxes I guess are similar to the monthly boxes such as Glossybox only they do not release them ever month and there is no subscription, you can just buy them whenever you feel like it.
The Editor's Faves box caught my eye for a number of reasons. When I noticed that it was only £7.95 I was straight to the checkout. There are a number of different themed collection boxes that you can choose from including mother & baby, beauty bible and skin perfecter.
The Editor's Faves box is a selection of this seasons must haves, hand picked but the editor of Latest In Beauty. I thought I would share with you the lovely products I got in my little beauty box.
One of the big reasons I was so excited about this box was because it contained some ESPA products. You all know how much of an ESPA fan I am by now so the fact that you got the ESPA Super Active Lift & Firm Intensive Eye Serum & Moisturiser was perfect. I have never tried any of their Lift & Firm products so I'm looking forward to trying these out. Love that they come in their own tiny boxes as well...how cute!
Also in the box was Ancienne Ambiance Goddess Argan Hand & Body Wash. I have never heard of this brand or product before but I am obsessed with Argan oil so a body wash that is full of the stuff as well as vitamin E and other anti oxidants sounds just my kind of product. I'm hoping this will leave my skin soft and nourished.
Ok so the next product didn't come with the Editor's Faves box, I ordered this separately. For £1.50 I got a little bottle of Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath & Shower Oil. I have been wanting to try Aromatherapy Associates bath oils for the longest time so thought this would be the perfect way to try one out. It smells AMAZING....containing pink grapefruit, rosemary and juniper berry. I can't wait to use this.
Probably the biggest reason I purchased this box was because it contained Dr Lipp Organic Nipple Balm for Lips. Now don't let the name put you off because this is predominantly known in the beauty world as a lip balm and a very raved about lip balm at that. I have been swithering about whether to buy this or nor for a few months now. When I saw it included in this box I knew I had to have it, this way I can try it out and make up my mind about buying the full sized product.
Also included in the box was Balance Me Radiance Facial Oil. This 10 ml bottle costs £15 to buy from the Balance Me website so already this box is great value. As you may be able to tell I have having a bit of a facial oil moment right now. To say I have been loving them would be an understatement. This is 100% natural which I have been really in to lately. I will be using this tonight and will let you know how I find it.
Neom is a brand I have never tried but have heard so many good things about. The box contained a generously sized tube of the Neom Organic Hand Cream Inspiration. Containing lots of goodies including Violet, Chamomile and Cedarwood, this cream smells lovely. I will definitely be keeping this on my bedside table for a quick hand pamper before bed.
The final product was Yardley Polaire fragrance. Now I am not a huge fan of vial samples but I like all the other products in the box that I was willing to overlook this one. As far as the scent goes, it is kind of fruity but floral at they same time. Not my cup of tea but not horrible either.
I can't wait to try out all my products and definitely think there was a really good range of luxury products included in the Editor's Faves. The box also came with a number of discount codes for money off the products inside so if I like them enough to want to purchase the full sized ones then this will come in handy!
