Fashionista Custom Palette

In my April Favourites I raved about the Fashionista blusher, Juicy Apricot. Fashionista is a make up brand sold in Superdrug and you can buy little custom palettes and fill them up with either eye shadows or blushers. As I liked the Juicy Apricot blush so much I decided I would get a custom palette and fill it up. My main reason for doing this was that I felt it would be great for taking on holiday with me. The palette is slim and reasonably small so I could pop this in my case and have a choice of cheek products with me.
I placed an online order with Superdrug and basically just googled the colours to find swatches of them before I decided which ones to buy...a bit dodgy and it could have been a hit or a miss. Luckily for me when they arrived they were all a hit...yay go me!

Top: Milan (left), Juicy Apricot (right), Bottom: Rose Thrill (left), Paris (right)
I filled my palette with
Juciy Apricot- a gorgeous peach with golden shimmer through it
Rose Thrill- a bright  matte candy pink
Milan- a cool toned shimmery pink
Paris- a matte medium bronzer

Left to right: Milan, Juciy Apricot, Rose Thrill, Paris

I chose to include a bronzer as I thought it would be handy to use as a contour powder when I am away on holiday, saving me having to take a separate product. These blushes are amazing. They are super pigmented which means you only need a tiny amount to get a pretty flush. They also blend out really nicely and I feel that the colour lasts well throughout the day.

I love the design of this palette that you can just pop the individual blushes out of their packaging and pop them in to the palette with a click. It means you can mix and match and can pop them back in their individual cases if you don't want to carry around the whole palette.

This is what I will be taking away with me on holiday so I will have the perfect blush colours for any make up look I do. At only £4 each these little blushers are inexpensive but great quality!

Do you like the idea of this custom palette?

  2. They're amazing aren't they?! They are 60% off on the MUA site now as they've bought Fashionista out, so I have bought a load of the shadows, blush and bronzers! At £2 a pop each, it'd be criminal not to! xx
